Aligned Physicians collects only what we need, uses it only for purposes you'd reasonably expect, never sells it, and gives you meaningful control over it. This policy explains the details. It is written to be read.

1. Who we are

"Aligned Physicians" refers to the physician-led network and the legal entity that operates it. Throughout this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Aligned Physicians. "You" refers to anyone who visits our website, submits an application, or engages with the network in any capacity.

You can reach us at hello@alignedphysicians.com for any privacy-related question or request.

2. What we collect

Information you provide directly

When you submit an application or otherwise communicate with us, we collect the information you choose to share. This typically includes your name, contact information, professional details (specialty, licensure, years in practice, current role), your CV if you choose to upload one, and any notes or context you add.

Member-contributed data (planned)

As the network expands to include Aligned Intelligence — the compensation, contract, and benchmark function — members may choose to contribute additional data such as employment contracts, compensation arrangements, productivity benchmarks, and performance reviews. This data is contributed voluntarily and is governed by additional terms specific to that program. We will not collect any such data without your explicit consent and a clear understanding of how it will be used.

Technical information

When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information — IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL — for security and performance purposes. We do not currently use marketing cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics that profile users across sites.

Information you submit may be retained as required by applicable law, including in connection with active or anticipated legal proceedings, regulatory inquiries, or audits, and may be subject to discovery, subpoena, or preservation obligations in such proceedings. This is standard practice for any organization but worth stating plainly.

If you would like us to delete information we hold about you, you may request deletion at any time at hello@alignedphysicians.com. We will honor the request unless retention is required by the obligations described above.

We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under California law. If we ever do, we will provide an opt-out mechanism and will honor opt-out signals where required.

You may also designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf. We may verify the identity of any requester before honoring a request.

8. European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation and equivalent national laws may apply to our processing of your information. The lawful bases on which we process your information include your consent, the performance of an agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating the network, and compliance with legal obligations.

You have the rights described in Section 6 above, plus the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Our website may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and you should review their policies before sharing information with them.
